Miscellaneous Options for Maestro


Q      Pairing Display: This command (under Displays on the toolbar) will allow you to select, view and print a specific trip. To print the displayed trip, select File on the toolbar, select Print. You may double click on a crewmember’s name to view her/his schedule, unless she/he is restricted.

Pairing times are color coded as follows:

Yellow: report and release times   
Magenta: layovers
Black:
not yet flown flights  
Green: credit per leg
Royal Blue:
flown flights 
Red:
irregular ops

Q     
Open time: This command will display a list of open time based on the selection criteria you enter in the Open Trips Report. This report is displayed by selecting Displays, then Open time.

Q      Crew Member Assignment: Displays a schedule. A scroll, to the left of the display, allows for viewing additional months. Calendar colors are:

White:  active bid period    
Red: Sunday
Yellow:  previous bid period
Blue:
next bid period

Q      Show Crew: Displays a schedule for the designated month. Select Displays then Show Crew.

Q      Show Trips: Non-color coded display of a pairing. Select Display then Show Trips. To print a displayed pairing select File, Print.

Q      Staffing Report: Select Displays, Staffing Report. This will display staffing coverage for the month. Please note: staffing numbers change continuously due to on line, real time transactions.

Payroll Report: Select Displays, Payroll Report. This report will reflect both flying and non -flying assignments. Please refer to an earlier handout, placed in your inflight mailbox, regarding the specifics of this report. Please be patient, this report will take several minutes to generate.

Q      Check in: This process allows check in (up to four [4] hours prior to report) for various events. Today, the check in process is for flying. In the future, check in will include the following assignments: flying, recurrent training, hot reserve shifts and IOE/OJT trips. After checking in you will be prompted to select OK or Print Trip?. If you select OK your messages will be displayed, your trip will not print. If you select Print Trip? your trip will print, your messages will be minimized to the bottom of the screen. To view your messages, select Print Messages? from the bottom toolbar. Select OK to print, Cancel to view additional messages or exit the message center.

Get Messages: Select Check in, Get Messages. Enter your Id and PIN. A message display will indicate whether you have messages. Select OK. If you have messages they will now appear in a box on the screen. Please note that the label at the top of this box is  “Print Message?” If you select OK you are requesting a printed copy of the message. If you select Cancel you will move on to the next message or exit the message center.

Q      Leave Message: This option allows you to leave a message for another crewmember. Select Check in, Leave Message. Enter your Id and Password. Select either Id or Name.  Type your message in the box at the bottom of the display. Remember that the message will only permit 200 characters. Select OK when finished.
