Your Voting
Notice and Instructions letter in the mail includes
important voting information.
The system used for
voting in an AFA-CWA election is a 2-step process. In the Voting
Notice and Instruction letter each member received a 16 digit
“authorization code”. You must call one of the following
numbers 1-800-505-4862 or 1-866-972-8044 and enter your
authorization code in order to receive your Voter Identification
Number (VIN) and your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Once
you receive your VIN and PIN, please write them down.
The second step is logging on to the Ballot Point election site
or calling the Ballot Point toll free number and casting your
ballot. Logging in to Ballot Point requires using the VIN & PIN
you obtained in the first step.
STEP ONE
-
Call 1-800-505-4862 or 1-866-972-8044
-
Enter your 16 digit “authorization” code found on the Voting
Notice & Instructions letter.
-
The system will issue you a Voter Identification Number (VIN)
and then you will choose your own Personal Identification
Number (PIN). Write down and save your VIN and PIN.
STEP TWO
(Polls Open March 20 and Close April 10)
-
Log on to the BallotPoint website
www.ballotpoint.com/afa
or call BallotPoint by phone at 1-877-AFA-VOTE.
-
When prompted, enter your VIN and PIN obtained in Step One.
-
Cast your vote
If you did not
receive your Voting Notice and Instructions letter, need a new
authorization code, or have any voting-related questions please
contact the AFA-CWA Ballot Help Line 800-424-2401 EXT 706. This
extension is answered during normal business hours and messages
can be left on the voice mail.
