Section 10 - ChartersA. All charters not built into pairings in accordance with Paragraph B.2., and/or lines in accordance with Section 6, Bid Administration, Paragraph C.4., shall be assigned a designating pairing number and, as soon as known, shall be posted in COT for a minimum of three (3) days before they are available for award. Charters shall be awarded in accordance with domicile seniority. Any charters which have not been bid and awarded by Crew Resources by 0500 the day prior to the operation of the charter may be assigned in accordance with the order of assignment as set forth in Section 7, Scheduling, Paragraph I. B. In the event a charter is not known in time to be posted in DPU for the minimum three (3) days, the charter shall be placed in COT. The Company will notify the MEC President or designee whenever a charter is not posted for three (3) days prior to award and provide her/him with a copy of the charter designating pairing number and routing, and the names of Flight Attendants assigned to such charter. C. Notwithstanding the restriction on pairing length, pairings which are built solely of charter flying, including deadhead and ferry needed for crew and aircraft positioning to support the charter, may be scheduled to exceed four (4) duty periods/four (4) days. D. The Company may require charter flight report time to be increased to one hour and thirty minutes (1:30) prior to departure in domicile, and one hour and fifteen minutes (1:15) prior to departure at a layover city, so long as the additional report time does not cause the duty day to exceed the maximum scheduled duty limitations.
