Due to the vacancies in the positions of LEC Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer and Council Representatives and in accordance with the AFA-CWA Constitution and Bylaws, and election is being held to fill these positions.  The term of office will begin immediately upon completion of the ballot count and end on June 30, 2011.

The Voting Notice & Instructions have been mailed out to all members in good standing.

AFA was made aware earlier this week of a problem with flight attendants being told their Ballotpoint authorization codes had expired when attempting to vote.  Ballotpoint was notified and this problem has been corrected.  If you attempted to vote earlier in the week and could not, please try again with your 16-digit authorization code. 
 
The polls are now open.
 
The polls will CLOSE on February 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM ET (12:00 Noon PHX)
 
Ballots will be counted on February 17, 2010.

Please join in the US Airways Employee Campaign to support the American Red Cross. Your gift to the American Red Cross will support emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include deploying personnel, sending relief supplies, and providing financial resources.

US Airways will match, dollar for dollar, total employee contributions up to $25,000 through February 28, 2010
for the campaign.
